Keys to Your Business Kingdom

Don’t Bank on the “Dream”: Individuals concentrate too much on their dream. Most businesses should have momentum. Your quest, should you choose to accept this mission, is to determine “How much money do I want to make?” and “What impact do I want this effort to have on my life and others’ ?” If you want to go big really fast then the concept has to have a range and an amount emblazoned in your mind to produce an outcome that is saleable. You have to be able to offer the products/services to many and at an extremely excellent cost in relation to the value you are offering. If it does not have this it will never perform. Everything on the globe is salable …even RUBBISH. Keep this in mind because billions of dollars have been earned on landfills, garbage pickup and recycling . So that is the concept taken proper thought.

Passionation: What is it that really moves you, gets you excited, wakes you up in the middle of the night about your product, service or idea? What makes you want to work into the wee hours of the morning and captures your thinking during the day? That’s your driving force, that’s your “passionation.” You want to advertise and share those “FEELINGS.” That’s what will attract customers, investors, the best associates and employees too. Would you begin a company advertising something you don’t like or promote? If you can’t get excited or passionate about your business, the company will never last or your some-time-energy in it, will never last either. You have to REALLY LOVE what you do to matter and the best achievements are where that is the main attention. If you take anything from this, get this! … Don’t hold-on to a FAD. A FAD has not held the attention of loyal customers or fans or investors; people don’t follow or join a company out of following the fad… but because because they really like it.

Laser Focus: Once you are set on the IDEA that you LOVE, concentrate on NOTHING ELSE. Ignore all other concepts, don’t pay attention to any new concepts unless they are directly associated with your company. Invest every, time talent and money, get instant feedback, considering nothing but your company.

You must balance your life … that is just rubbish… you are beginning a company, you must concentrate now or you never will. You can get a work-life balance when you have mastered your achievements. Effective companies who say that they had a “great” work-life balance” when they began, are lying. You can’t experience a lie; only truth is experiential. Win a little, enjoy a little. Win big, enjoy big. Experience success and you will never go back.

Execute: That’s right … JUST GET IT DONE. Don’t hesitate, don’t think about it, just get it done. Every day, every hour and all you think about is “Doing the most important thing NOW.” Don’t listen to naysayers, negative family members, friends or people who have never achieved success. You can’t listen to failure; hang out with winners, not losers. Learn your skills. Don’t just do it once, do it over and over again. Gain understanding from your errors without hating yourself, learn from them and don’t create them again. Be a filter-oriented leader and concentrate on the best way to do it and take recommendations from those that count like your customers (listen carefully) but begin but begin to take those recommendations that can help you develop a better product or service. It’s a challenging attitude that will insure positive achievements.

Respect those that care about you: Yes, figure out how to apologize to buddies and close relatives for being such an ass while you are trying to develop your company. You will be neglecting them, they will dislike you for it, but in the end, they will see and discover why you have done it … eventually … they may not admit it though but they will still want to associate with you.

These are the “Keys” you must posses to build your kingdom.

They say, “People spend more money on cell phone service monthly than any other utility and half what they spend on food.” Can that be? Sure looks that way! This new iPhone 5 is larger, though lighter, thinner and faster than any previous iPhone to date. It does everything faster, most at 2 times the speed … with a bright screen and vivid colors to boot.

It’ll even work around the world and in more places on more services than any other phone. Watch out Google! which just purchased Motorola Mobility and a few days ago introduced a new line of Droid phones that looked pretty hot … until now. What do you think about all this? Please leave some comments and we’ll get a dialog going on this. John

The NEVADA AG’s OFFICE IS ALERTING CONSUMERS TO BE AWARE OF ELECTRONIC PICKPOCKETING
Consumers should be very aware that criminals can steal your credit card, debit card, passport and other valuable information without even touching your wallet or purse. This vicious crime is called “electronic pickpocketing”. Radio Frequency Identification or “RFID” is the technology used to perform this type of theft.

The Hundreds of millions of debit cards credit cards, and passports issued since 2006 are embedded with a RFID chips (radio frequency identification chip—or RFID) and are also commonly used in hotel keys, cards that raise the electronic gates in parking garages and unlock doors at buildings. Also military, Government and sea and land port of entry ID cards are also suitable to this type of theft. You only need to swipe the card in front of a reader. The RFID chip is always on, making consumers more vulnerable to identity theft.

Thieves can grab your information by using a frequency reader. These readers are relatively inexpensive and easy to get. The thief simply walks next to you and electronically copies your credit card number and expiration date without any contact physically . While these cards are in your wallet or purse they can transmit your card or passport number and in some states, even your drivers’ license digital information when placed close to a reader. Your card information immediately appears on a computer screen without even knowing it. U.S. passports are more difficult to read than cards that have RFID chips because they also need a password. But hackers with enough knowledge can at least see everything on the passport’s front page. A thief can escape before the consumer ever realizes his information has been stolen. It’s called “electronic pickpocketing”.

The credit card industry and the U.S. Department of State use RFID chip technology because it holds more data than magnetic strips and can be read quicker. However, the convenience can also put consumers at risk of having their information stolen. For instance, instead of swiping these cards, they can simply be tapped or passed by a sensor/reader to complete the transaction. This makes paying faster and easier. It is reported that scanned information transferred onto hotel keys has also been read and used to make purchases.

It is important for consumers to protect themselves from this type of identity theft. While the makers of RFID cards say they are safe, consumers need to learn how to prevent this electronic theft from occurring. You can tell if your credit or debit card has the RFID chip by the four wavy lines on the front or some other symbol that indicates they transmit. The good news is, if your debit card does have an RFID chip, almost all banks will exchange it for a card without the RFID chip. If you have credit cards or a drivers’ license with the RFID chip, contact the issuer to provide a secure sleeve and keep your card inside the sleeve at all times when you are not using it. Other forms of protection are to place the cards in protective sleeves often made of foil or possibly even tin foil or special badge holders that prevent RFID cards from being read unknowingly.

If you need more information, please call the Attorney General’s Office in Las Vegas at (702) 486-3420 or in Carson City at (7750 684-1180. Consumer protection information can also be found on the Attorney General’s website at www.ag.state.nv.us, the Nevada website at and at the Federal Trade Commission website at www.ftc.gov.

Thank you for IdentityStronghold for their information on this article.

have a great day … and be careful out there!

The NEW DROID 3 from Motorola

(coming July 14). I’ve been waiting for a phone that is both CDMA (Verizon) and one that is good worldwide which is the GSM network. That means that it works on Verizon here in the states but also has a SIM chip so when you go overseas, you can buy a local or international SIM chip and service and travel almost anywhere there is cell phone service. And, … this is BIG, if you want to jump ship and go to AT&T or T-Mobile, all you have to do is slide their chip in your phone and you’re off an running.

The new DROID3 has an 8 MegaPixel camera, flash and a 1080p HD video camera that you can hook right up to your flat screen TV. It has its own 4″ HD display with the new Gorilla Glass form Corning and a Qwerty slide out keyboard for accurate texting. I personally prefer a slide-out bcause with my large fingers I have trouble with touch screen keyboards. I can type a text much faster on my keyboard which gives me accurate texting that I don’t have to continually back up, clear letters and retype which is very frustrating to me especially if I’m in a hurry. It is also very good if I have to type long texts, which my kids hate to receive from me, but are sometimes very important in business. If you use the Google Docs, you’ll be able to type good letters and notes with the QWERTY keyboard.

This phone is really a superior upgrade to Motorola’s new World Phone that has both CDMA (verzon) and GSM which the rest of the world uses … and this new phone is only $199 from Verizon (probably with a two year plan though) Not bad considering all the advancements. here is the link to the comparison at motorola.com CLICK HERE

What’s Happening In Internet Marketing

If people could only understand what “organic” SEO is and what is actually paid advertising, they might get a little better perspective of what the more inexpensive programming and activity can do for their marketing efforts. Google research shows that people are spending a mere ten percent of their Internet marketing budget on SEO and ninety percent on paid search. In addition, with more than seventy percent of small business owners do their own search engine optimization in-house (rather than hiring it out to a professional). They also think they can do the paid pay-per-click placement too. You might ask, “Just how can a novice do a better job than a professional with years of experience and knowledge of the industry and trends?”

The answer is in understanding the human and their beliefs. Most think that they can save money by doing it themselves … and they are right, they can save some money. Now maybe they are not counting all the hours they themselves spend trying to learn what they need to to purchase the pay-per-click and the time it takes them to place the ads. Did it take them one hour to master it or did it really take them maybe fifteen hours to get it correct. Let’s see … if they are a business owner and let’s say they should earn $75 to $200 per hour for their work, then the learning curve and placement could have cost them $1,125 up to $3,000 just to learn it and then a few hours a week to place and track the responses, another $150 to $600 a week. Well I know many professional SEO people that would be willing to do it for $150 to $200 per week … with all the reports and work that is required.

Where is the actual truth though? The “TRUTH” is in the “RESULTS.” Only by measuring the effectiveness of the business owner and the professional will the REAL TRUTH be known. The inexperienced ad placer probably did not purchase the ads with the correct “key words” and the ad did not get good results. Maybe they placed it on the wrong pages … maybe they did not specify local placement only … maybe they overpaid for the ads or did not bid correctly. Maybe they didn’t know how to use “long-tail key words” to get better value and a strong ROI on their investment. A true SEO professional could use his/her knowledge to properly select the correct key words or use phrases, bid for them, and also record the results and report back to the merchant with hard facts of return on investment. Rather than shot-gunning the ads, having a planed strategy to follow and be measured by is the only real solution for a good merchant.

A combination of paid-search ads and organic SEO is the best way. There are many reasons to discovering the benefits of organic programming for search engines and using linking to achieve “first page search results”. Organic SEO is the “behind the scenes battle monger” earning its way up the search page ladder to the top of the rung or the first-page on the search engines. Without reaching the first page, your chances are “a hundred to one” that someone will even go to the second page and “a thousand to one” that they’ll go to the third page. But while you are earning your way up the ladder you may want to consider some well placed pay-per-click advertising to begin the flow. It could take three to six months of well placed programming and search engine attraction to organically get you to the top.

What does this mean? Small business owners need to learn what works and doesn’t work when it comes to SEO and paid search techniques. The cost of paid search continues to rise, so SEO may be a better place to spend your time and money.

Most searchers don’t scroll down beyond the first screen of search results they receive from Google, Yahoo or MSN Search. This means that if you are not in the top 10 search engine rankings (organic), you may need to do more SEO work to your website.

Here are some organic SEO tips:

Your copywriting must be original, interesting and go along with your key words you want to target on the Internet search engines

Make sure your title is BOLD formatted to show search engines that it is important.

Your Key words should incorporated in your title and the first paragraph of your copy

All of your key words should be used in the first and second paragraphs of your text

Be consistent with targeted search terms and your key words. You sould use the key words for an entire quarter r even six months to get effective placement and importance reference back to your site through links from authority sites.

You must make sure that you use proper vocabulary for your target group. Most professionals use 4th grade vocabulary so it will be understood by most people. If your target market is neurosurgeons, then you can step it up a bit; school teaches? Be very careful of proper usage and spelling or they’ll murder you. You must be authentic tough so don’t try to impress your reader with large words or try to fool them. You’ll always be caught … sometime and then down goes your credibility.

Make certain your content is without spelling errors, use bullet points when appropriate, and short and well constructed sentences. They seem to work best with most of the search engines.

Look to put out considerable articles and press releases. When they get re-published on “authority sites” they rank high with the search engines and make sure you have a reference to a link back to your website or refer to your website in the article.

Make sure the META TITLE TAG in your HTML code uses the most desired key word or words in the title.

Of course checking out the competition’s meta tags in their source code is a good competitive strategy also.

Having a professional SEO programmer and marketing expert help you may save you hours of work and in the end give you a far better return on your investment than trying to be all things in your marketing department while running your business. “Stick to your knitting” and run the business. You’ll never grow your business by trying to do everything yourself.

Have a Fantastic Day!

It takes a well designed and architected Web site

… laced with Internet marketing elements; a site that is search-engine “encouraging” rather than just “friendly,” to work in today’s market to reach online prospects and customers that will grow your business. “Do a little bit and you’ll get a little bit.” Do it right and you can grow your business to any size you like. “Do a lot and you’ll make a lot.” It’s your choice!
Hi, I’m John Roth and I have been doing web development for 12 years. In the industry, I’m considered an “ol’ timer” because the commercial graphical World Wide Web is only about 15 years-old (1994) and only 17 years-old from it’s original launch from Geneva Switzerland by Tim Berners-Lee, an Englishman while working at CERN, according to Wikipedia.

As a veteran of Internet Web design, I have tried many things and accomplished many successes … along with my failures. Oh yes, some failures along the way too. But I’ve learned from them. That is the important part. I wish I could go back now and help those customers that allowed me the opportunity to learn my craft at their expense.

Clicking on the “Like” button now publishes to a full news-feed story…

Facebook has upgraded its “Like” button for third-party websites. Clicking on the “Like” button now publishes to a full news-feed story, rather than just a “recent activity” post. It’s now just like the “Share” button, which Facebook may now drop, writes Josh Constine. “The change gives more prominence to outbound links in the news feed and on a user’s wall, and so will increase referral traffic and draw more sites to add the Like button,”

“When users click the Like or Recommend button on a third-party website or within a Facebook app, it now publishes a full news feed story instead of just a one-line Recent Activity story. Previously, full stories with headlines, thumbnail images, and captions were only published if the website chose to implement the “Like with Comment” version of the button and users chose to add this additional context. The change gives more prominence to outbound links in the news feed and on a user’s wall, and so will increase referral traffic and draw more sites to add the Like button.”

This is good news for Internet marketers, especially on their FAN pages, groups and events. Getting your fans or friends to automatically repost your good news to their friends is what we ave all been looking for rather than sending individual messages about our news.

Let me know about what you think on this post.

Thank you!
