Google Tablet is Coming says Verizon CEO

According to Dan Nosowitz of Fast Company, “The Wall Street Journal today reported that Lowell McAdam, CEO of Verizon, announced that a Google tablet will be coming to the Verizon’s Network. …

A new tablet running Google’s Android OS will come to Verizon competing with Apple’s iPad, and it will probably bring with it a new pricing plan that makes more sense for the carriers (no more unlimited plans). We’ll see if Verizon can get this thing released sooner rather than later.
They have been a little slow coming to market with smart-phones and other devices. We’ll see “if they can get out of the gate this time.”

I have never heard anyone tell me that Verizon is easy to work with. from simple home phone customer service to digital multi-channel bandwidth, they are thought of as “the Monsters” of telecommunications because “they take no prisoners” and seem to have no feelings.; just grab the money and put a nice front-facing image on.

We’ll see if they get The Tablet and what they’ll do with it.
